This Friday I could not wait any longer to wear my newest floral addition, a floral button down dress. I was not going to wear tights with it, but it was still just too cold for my taste. By the afternoon it was 80 degrees and they came off. The floral pattern has a navy background and then many pastel pink, yellow, green, and purple flowers, it completely looks like a grandma's couch, but it I love love love it! I have a pair of navy tights I have never worn and this was the perfect opportunity to wear them anyways. I went with my nude wedge heels, I can honestly not keep them off my feet. I think I have worn them about four out of the five days I have had them. And they get more and more comfortable every time I wear them.

St. Patrick's Day Pain
This Thursday was St. Patrick's Day and I knew exactly what I would be wearing. I have a pair of bright green pointy toe heels with white accents that I got on a trip to Brazil. They are terribly uncomfortable, but I just could not turn them down for St Patrick's Day! I wore them with dark wash boot cut jeans, a basic white v neck, a silver scarf, and a black members only jacket. I wore a pair of big round green earrings that I basically only wear on St. Patrick's Day also. I wanted to wear something that people would be like, Where's your green? and I can answer back right there and point down! That way it really is totally obvi. Theme days are so great because your outfit is practically already picked out for you!

What is Black and Red and Vintage?
Tuesday afternoon, I went antiquing around Lexington and found a major steal! It was a patent leather 1950's bag, in amazing condition. A red bag is something everyone should have, and I have been looking for one for a while and I finally found one I love. I knew I wanted to wear an outfit to show off my bag, and it just so happens that The Watch Force was filming part of their music video for the Black and Red Remix. They needed students to be in the video, including your truly. I kept it pretty basic, black tee with puffy sleeves, wide jeans, black booties, and a red and black plaid scarf. And of course the bag! The remix and the video was a hit and so was my bag!

Out with the Old Already
This Tuesday was the coldest day of the week and they were also calling for rain, yuck! So I figured I would go ahead and get all my cold weather outfits gone. Sometimes, it is like once you put on that first spring dress, it is so hard to go back to jeans and sweaters. I wore a half sleeved royal blue tunic sweater, skinny jeans, and black floret flats. It was only Tuesday but I was already thinking about how ready I was for Friday and 80 degree weather!

Springing into Sleep
This weekend we Sprang forward an hour. That means lost an hour of sleep, which means not good. I am normally not that effected by it, but my goodness it is Wednesday and I am still dead beat! Needless to say this Monday I was feeling the comfort calling, that means jeggings! I went with my black ones, a stretch cotton pink floral baby doll tunic, silver flats, and silver jewelry. I could honestly sleep in this outfit, and I did that afternoon. Hopefully the warm weather laster in the week will wake me up!

In the Nude
I got a pair of patent leather nude wedges Wednesday and they have been screaming my name! The rain finally calmed down, and I got my chance. It was still cool out so I paired them with wide dark jeans, a satin maroon tank, a khaki blazer, and a skinny grey belt. So, I lied, it was not a maroon tank, it was a dress tucked in to look like a bubble tank. Nobody would ever guess it, genius I know! Another of my many fashion secrets! Why not let an article in your closet act as many things as possible. This item is a double jeopardy. Some other dress I can wear as skirts, or put skirts over them and wear the top as a shirt tucked in. I love getting creative with my pieces and seeing how far I can take anything!

Rain Rain Go Away
Thursday I think it rained more than ever. I was expecting rain, but not this much.I went with khaki pin stripe roll up capris and orange flats. My shoes were soaked and made squishy sounds every time I took a step. I wish I was in rain boots, a rain jacket, and a rain hat. I have a class off campus and even though I had an umbrella, the wind was so bad I was still soaked from my waist down for fourth period, not to mention freezing cold. As for the rest of the outfit I went with a floral cap sleeve tee, tucked in; and my trench coat. The warm weather will truly not be here soon enough.

Rainy Wednesdays
This Wednesday they were calling for tons of rain. I felt like it would be a good day for boots. I went with my cognac embroidered boots and my forest green cords. I figured I would wear my cords one more time before it gets warm for good. I went with a cream blouse and my multi-colored zig zag scarf. I knew it would be cold especially with the rain so I wore my bomber jacket. I should have saved this outfit for Thursday because it rained so much more. But I guess there are only so many outfits that are good for rain.

Fancy Fat Tuesday
This Tuesday I found out it was Fat Tuesday, the last day of Mardi Gras, before I had decided what to wear. When I have to pick out an outfit quick, it is always easier if I have an occasion to dress for and Fat Tuesday was enough occasion for me! I thought I would bring out the sequins and shine in my wardrobe. I went with a royal blue button down scoop neck shirt over a gold sequin trim camisole. I went with clean cut wide jeans, and black sequin heels. There can most definitely be too many sequins in an outfit, but if you use them for accents, or a lot in one color it can work. Sequins are one item that should be used with caution.

Awkward Lengths and Perfect Accessories
Monday morning I knew they were calling for rain later in the week, so I figured I better go ahead and wear any floor grazing jeans now. I will just never get over wet pant bottoms. I went with my favorite and comfortable wide jeans. This pair is an awkward length, like too long for flats, but too short for heels, so they are perfect with kitten heels! I have two pair and I wanted to go with my red pointy toe ones today. Almost anytime I wear red heels I want that to be the focus, so I went with a long grey basic v neck, with a white rope belt at the high waist. It is amazing how just a simple piece of rope can change an entire outfit. Without it, I would have looked like a frumpy bum, that only owns one pair of shoes! Just remember, as long as you accessorize, your good, and Rachel Zoe says you can never over accessorize!

No Sweat Silver
Thursday night my contacts were bothering me, so Friday morning I decided to just go with my Versace silver frames with black arms. When I wear these I do not like to mix silver and gold. I also have sandals that have three silver circles with black straps. They could not go better with my glasses. I wore basic jeans and a black tee. I most definitely needed more color so I threw on a coral scarf. This was a pretty quickly put together outfit, but it still shows, that there is never a need or reason for sweats.

Ruffly Rompers, Major I Know
I am not sure if you all are ready for this outfit, it was pretty major. I had to take a special picture for yearbook today, so it had to be the BEST. You can never go wrong with a romper when you need something a little different, a little more out there, ad a little more original. Well I take that back, you can go wrong with a romper if you are wear a striped terry cloth romper to school. That is pool side only! This romper was grey with a half zipper, ruffles at the neck, and cap sleeved. It did not magically get super warm for me, so I did have to put something on over it. I wanted to keep school colors on, so I went with my red wool blazer, and tights. This also took the romper to another level. If I just had on the romper with sandals, then it would be very casual and just not major. I also went with black patent leather heels for half the day, the other half I had on my black flats. This is one of my most used fashion tricks, either way, the ensemble is still great! Keep you eyes out for this number in the yearbook!

Withering in the Winter
Well Wednesday was yet another cold day. I had to bring out the bomber jacket and my warmest scarf! As for the rest of the outfit, I went with skinny jeans, and a light green 3/4ths sleeve shirt with a see through floral print. I wore a blue camisole under the shirt. I have blue moccasins the same color blue so those were perfect. If it does get warm soon I am going to have to start repeating cold weather outfits, and I refuse. The light green this Wednesday was pushing it for being too pastel for the cold weather. Thursday was a warmer day and a very special outfit, but it is a surprise, so I cannot tell what it is.

Bottom of the Barrel
This Tuesday was a cold day. I am running out of new things to wear in the cold weather, so I am scrapping the bottom of the barrel, or at least my drawers.I went with a sea green 3/4th sleeve top, tucked in. I wore my cognac leather belt with the paisley print. For the rest of my outfit, I went with the uniform. Wide jeans, cognac lace up booties, and my bomber jack in the cold. I need some warm weather so I can bring out some new shoes and dresses and such!

Rain and Rainbows
This Monday I wanted to wear something pretty comfortable, and it was rainy, so I thought capris would be the way to go. I wore my light blue and white striped pants, rolled up, with a green, ribbed, scoop neck top. I wore my grey over sized cardigan, and my rainbow Sanuks. My Sanuks are definitely the most comfortable shoes I own, and I suggest everybody invest in a pair! I do not wear tennis shoes often, and these are not even like let's go running shoes, but when I do it is def in the rain.

Patterns and Patience
This Friday I went with my friend and future roommate to visit NC State University. I have had to have too much patience waiting to find out if I got in or not, and I am still waiting! But it was a wonderful trip. Central and NCSU colors are the same, so I felt it necessary to go with red and black for a color scheme. I also knew it would probably be raining and I would be doing a lot of walking, so no heels, and no long jeans. I decided to go with skinny jeans, and over the knee black suede boots. On top I mixed patterns! It is okay, as long as it is nothing too crazy. I had on a red tank top with silver stripes, a black cardigan over that, and a white scarf with black polka dots. Most of the time I had on a grey trench, but in the afternoon the sun came out and it was beautiful day.

Thirsty Thursday
Davidson County has been thirsty for some rain and today, we got it. When I know it is going to rain outside I prepare. I know I will not be in flip flops and I will not be in jeans that slightly touch the ground. This Thursday the high was actually 80 degrees, so I figured capris would be my best bet. With the thought of water in mind, i was feeling a little nautical. I brought out my white and navy horizontal stripped cardigan, over an orange tank, with a white rope belt worn at the high waist, and then white loafers. Yes loafers, complete with tassel. They are not that bad, I promise! More rain on Friday but no school in Davidson County for me!

Polka Dots for the Page
This Wednesday we took the fashion page picture, lots of pictures for yearbook while we are trying to finish it up! Our school colors are red, black, white, and silver. I told everybody to wear those colors and the red will stick out. I got a red dress with white polka dots a while back and I have never worn it. I felt like this was the perfect opportunity. I wanted to make sure I accessorized it so that I would not get an Minnie Mouse comments and I was successful! The dress is fitted and stops about six inches above the knee. It was still a little chilly, so I went with black ribbed tights. Then a scarf was still necessary so I went with a silver one. I wore black patent heels for the picture, but they are too high for the walking I have to do, so I brought along patent flats to change into when I need to. This was an outfit that stands out everyday and in the picture!

Safari Shorts
This Tuesday I had to take my picture for the Yearbook page so I wanted to make sure and wear something different and cute! I have these high wasted shorts that have an abstract safari print in black and cream. Now, it was way too cold for just the shorts, but they are a little more dressy so I wore black tights under them, tucked in a cream shirt, wore a coral scarf tied in a knot for some color, otherwise the cream would wash me out terribly, and I went with my black scrunchy booties. This outfit was majorrr, and I just love it! I love pieces like these short because I can wear them when it is 40 degrees or 90 degrees outside!

Balance and Blisters
This Monday was another warm day, and I decided to go with skinny crop jeggings. The crops are pants that a little longer than capris so you just see about three inches of the ankle. When I wear something that is tight on the bottom half, I like to wear something with a little more volume on the top. I went with a solid white v neck and then a cobalt blue over sized cardigan. I wore my black flats with the florets, and I must say I regret it. They are the flats that have the elastic and roll up and they made really bad blisters on the back of my ankles. I have only worn these flats with jeans, so normally I have socks on, this was a trial thing, and I highly doubt I will wear these without socks unless I will just be sitting around all day! Note to self, these are not walking shoes.

Summoned Sandals
This Friday the high was about 72 degrees and the sandals were summoned. I just had to wear my open toe brown wedges with the florets. I was not going to go all out in shorts or a sundress though. That would be too far. I paired them with fitted flare jeans, a cream flowy top, tucked in, and a brown leather belt, with colored accents. I also went with a maroon scarf to bring some color to the top half. Friday I finally got to feeling a little better and being able to wear wedges in February made it that much better!

Spring Fever
I do not know what it is with being sick, but this week I have worn a lot of color and florals. This Thursday was no exception. All the warm weather has been tempting me to bring out some spring colors, and I just could not hold back wearing my light pink floral jellies any longer! I went with basic jeans, a solid purple tunic, and a floral purple, blue, and pink over sized scarf. The change in weather is probably what made me sick, but I cannot complain. I guess I have an early case of spring fever! I am cutting short, so I can hopefully get caught up!

Feeling... Green and Flat
Well this Wednesday, I was still sick! I had no voice whatsoever. And once again, I felt the need for comfort. I went with my wide green jeans. They really are just the most comfortable pair of pants I own. And they are not too long like most of my wide jeans, for flats. I have never worn so many flats in my life! I went with a purple, orange, and green floral print cotton shirt, a khaki crop blazer, and metallic gold moccasins. The comfort level in the outfit was so high, I had to come home from school midday and take myself a power nap! These posts are super short I know, but I have like a million to write!

Skinnys when Sick
This Tuesday I just could not make it to first and second period. I went to the doctor instead. As for third and fourth I did manage to get something decent together. I went with my cognac embroidered boots, they are so comfortable I just could not pass them up. I wore them with skinnys, and lavender v neck, and big cream scarf, and my bomber jacker of course! It is amazing how comfortable this 'sick' outfit was, but do not get me wrong, I could not get home, into my sweats, and into bed fast enough!

Pink with Love
Happy Valentines Day to me, I am sick! I still went to school though, but I will warn my outfits this week were nothing spectacular. I had an upper respiratory infect that only got worse as the week progressed! I started the week off wanting to show my Valentines colors. I have a pink scarf and I have never worn it! This seemed like the perfect opportunity! I wore it with a black top with a ruffle neck, wide jeans, and black booties. Like I said nothing too major, but pink is such a sweet color it seemed alight. I wore my pink sapphires today too!

Bananas for Basketball
This Friday we had a Spartan Friday! We had our last home basketball game, so everybody was supposed to wear Spartan colors, red, black, white, or silver. I knew I would wear my red tie dye Spartan tee so I really wanted to wear my white jeans, so that I did not just have another tee shirt and jeans outfit. I wore those white jeans, my tee, black floral flats, a black sweater cardigan, and a silver scarf. I think this was far from a basic tee and jeans ensemble.

Take it up a Notch
After a lazy and comfy Tuesday and Wednesday, I was ready to dress up a little more Thursday. I have a pair of jeans I almost never wear because they are so tight and have almost no stretch. They probably look the best on, but I almost have to plan on being uncomfortable all day if I am going to wear these jeans. This Thursday we had a two hour delay, so I figured it would be a good day to wear something I am hesitant about. The jeans are a very dark wash, and they are tight until the knee, then they flare out a ton. These are the absolute Rachel Zoe flares. I wore them with a light blue floral print tunic, and my navy heels. I have been doing this crazy yoga in a 105 degree room, so turns out the jeans were not as tight as I expected, however still tighter than most my other jeans. I guess I should keep up the yoga and before long, I will be wearing these jeans as much as possible!

Caution: This Piece is Easily Addicted To
I feel like I have started my last 18 blogs with I know I am behind... So why change right, ha. I have just been extremely busy this week. Tuesday I had borrowed a pair of UGGs from my friend Tori (she has like the entire UGG collection, so borrowing this pair was no biggie) and there they are staring at my Wednesday morning. They just looked so comfortable and warm and cozy, there was no way I could turn them down. They are the Classic Cardy in grey. Also the ones that look like a sweater. I wore them with lighter skinny jeans, which I also got comments on, from Tara and Spencer. Apparently these are the most casual jeans I have worn this year! I went with a purple shirt with embellishment on the neck line. I also wore silver jewelry. I had to get those UGGs back to Tori asap, otherwise I would be wearing them every day!

Abstract Comfort
This Tuesday I was really in the mood to wear my moccasins. It is a good thing I did, I ended up taking my peer class to recess and I was a little muddy. So I was rummaging through my closet and I cannot find anything, then underneath a pile of clothes I was going to get rid I see a navy, red, and cream print Fossil shirt screaming my name! I love keeping colors in the same family to cream would really compliment my cognac mocs. This print is kind of an abstract floral print, very 50's or 60's. I went with basic jeans, and then a big warm cozy, I-just-want-to-cuddle-up-and-go-back-to-sleep cream scarf. I went with a solid scarf since I had a print on my top. This is one of my most comfortable outfits yet!

When In Doubt
Go with this out...fit! I tried to rhyme. I know I am behind! This has just been a busy busy week. I am doing this new yoga called Bikram and I am taking the class every night this week, so juggling that and school work has pushed my blog to the back burner. Monday I had nothing planned to wear so I went with one of my basic outfits; dark wide jeans, 20's style cognac lace up booties, a basic cream over sized sweater, my bomber jacket, and a zigzag multi colored scarf! If I am ever in a rush, I always resort to outfits like this. As long as I have wide jeans, black/brown booties, a solid shirt, and a scarf to contrast it, I am good! I may have a few more of these outfits this week!

Wear Red
I am an avid supporter of many causes. If all I have to do is wear a color to support something, why not! Today was national wear red day to support reducing heart disease in women. Turns out, other than t shirts and dresses, I do not have much red! I finally found a basic long sleeve red shirt, I figured it would not be too hard to dress up. I wore a fitted black blazer with a lace trim over it and a black and white polka dot scarf. I feel like there is always a right and wrong way to do something, and polka dots are one of those. I had all solid colors, so the polka dot scarf is just what this outfit needed to tie it together. It was a rainy day so I wore skinny jeans and my black scrunchy booties! This is one of my favorite outfits of the year I think, not only was I supporting a cause, but also in current and hopefully future school colors, not too much long and I will know if I got into NCSU or not!

A Simple Environment
Today we had our environmental club picture so I wore my club t shirt to support it, and show off my proud presidency! The t shirt is a chocolate brown with a world on the front, and above it reads 'You people are hurting me!' Now, I could not go with just a t shirt, but I did keep all of my clothes cotton or other environmental friendly fibers. I wore a light blue over sized cardigan, basic jeans, and my Toms. I also wore earth tone jewelry, made from various natural stones and such. I kept it pretty simple, but I think that fits the environment theme.

Florals and Flats and Fever
Like I said yesterday, flats are going to be more common in my wardrobe the the peer helping. This is until it gets warm enough to bring out the wedges! One day of warm weather and I already have spring fever. This weekend I got these cute black flats that have three flowers on the toe. I knew I wanted to wear these, so I went with something to tie in the floral. I decided to go with a thin navy and light blue floral print tunic, over a black lace camisole. I went with dark clean cut basic jeans and silver jewelry to brighten the outfit up a bit. I wear the tunic over some of my bathing suits, so that really made me want to hurry along the warm weather!

A Lucky Klein Find
Lately I have been having troubles finding cute tops. Marshalls is one of my favorite stores, ever. Who would not want to spend less than they have to on a great quality item. This weekend I got super lucky there. I think they are making room for the spring, and I found a Calvin Klein shirt normally priced at $49.50 for $5. You just cannot beat that! I have a pretty big wardrobe, but I can honestly say, everything is not pricey just because it is cute. I do have my statement pieces that I am willing to spend a little more on, but they are pieces that will last a lifetime; or more. Not to mention some the the best items out there are in vintage or thrift shops. They may need some editing, but that only make them more unique! The shirt is a Cerulean blue color, with tighter sleeve and a loose fit. It has a little zipper pocket on the left, and it is ultra soft! I went with boot cut jeans, black booties, and my trench coat. This semester I will be doing much more walking with my peer helping, so I may not be in heels as much, which will be hard for me.

New Beginnings, Belts, and Books
I wanted to keep my fresh start so this Friday I wanted to wear a belt my mom found for me. It is cognac brown with a colored paisley pattern, very cute! I thought I would keep the rest of my outfit simple, so I could show it off. I also knew I wanted to tuck in my shirt. I went with the ever classic, dark skinny jeans and plain white v neck. I brought out the color in the belt with a coral scarf. As for shoes, my cognac lace up booties! I fear my posts may become neglected and definitely shortened with this harder semester, and enlarged workload, but I will make sure I post something for everyday!

Freshly Floral
It is a new semester, finally. With snow days and exams I never thought it would get here! It felt like a very cold first day of school! I went through my closest looking for pieces I have not worn yet and I came across a cream, black, and turquoise, floral print cardigan. The print is pretty large and it is not too springy, so I thought it would be cute. I wore a black lacy camisole under it and wore wide jeans black boots. I also wore my black pea coat with the little flowers on the collar. I am just in love with the pea coat! I went with cream and gold heart earrings and gold jewelry. Nothing too extravagant, but still classy!

Today was our last exam day, but I still did not have school. Instead, I made a trip to the eye doctor. I knew I would probably be doing a little shopping afterwards, so I wanted to make sure and not wear anything too restraining for my shopping needs. I went with dark skinny jeans, black over the knee boots, a basic plum v neck, with a big silver necklace. Today was also one of the few days I wore my glasses! They are silver, black, and Versace. I love those glasses, contacts just seem so much more convenient!

Flowers, Poofs, and Ruffles
Today I went shopping for my cotillion dress. I did not find a dress but I did find a fabulous pea coat. It is black with three buttons, a line, and on the left collar it has little flowers. They just set the coat off! We did have a little problem though, there was only one, and it was missing a button. What a heart breaker right? No, it had a extra button on it and we got 20% off! I just love deals! As for finding a cotillion dress, I do not know what I am going to do. Now about what I actually wore... When I shop, and especially when I know I am going to be trying on clothes, I follow four rules: I wear something comfortable, warm enough I will not have to carry a jacket in these months, shoes easy to take off quickly for fast shoe try ons, and minimal layers, so I am not on off on off, over the hair, back over the hair so much. I decided to go with basic jeans, a long sleeve blue top with poofy sleeves, got to have that glam some where right, a cream scarf with ruffles, and black flats. Shopping in the summertime is the best, a dress and sandals! Ah, it will be too long till I am in those though.

Time to Pop
Today I stayed around Lexington, went to lunch with my dad and a few shops with mom. I decided to go with a pretty simple outfit, but I wanted to wear my navy heels. I have not worn them much, so I based my outfit on them. I went with lighter wide jeans, a navy cardigan with a pop of fuchsia underneath. I went with a silver scarf. and ended up with my blue pea coat on for most of the time I was out and around town. But it is cute too, so that is okay.

O O Obsessed
This week we have exams and I exempted all of mine so I will not be going to school, but of course I will still be wearing clothes. I am just not ready to wear bright colors or anything yet but I did lighten up my wardrobe with some polka dots. We had a very warm day and I was going to be running around town, so I decided to go with a sweater warm enough I would not need a jacket for. It is solid black and a v neck, I wore a polka dot scarf tied in a knot, straight jeans, and blue moccasins with a gold buckle for a little pop. I went with gold jewelry. It was a pretty simple day, but I was just running around town, so no need for anything extravagant. It was so nice to get a little warm sunshine though!

Honorable Mention
We have been out of school for a long time because of the snow and the holiday. This Tuesday we finally returned; however, I did not. Over the break my grandfather passed away and I attended his funeral this Tuesday. He was always very proud of my blog and every time I visited him, he would ask 'so have you repeated any outfits yet?' or 'are you still doing your blog?' I said I would do the blog no matter what as long as there was a school day, so being as dedicated as he was I am not going to change it. I wore a knee length dress, with a white, gray, and black circle design. I wore a skinny gray braided belt, a black scarf, black heels, and black tights. And that is about all I have to say about this outfit.

Leopard Vest, 'Nough Said
I was planning on taking my picture for the yearbook staff page today so I wanted to wear something that is sure to make a statement. Well I ended up not taking my picture today, but I still wore something fabulous. It was a Christmas present from my cousin Courtney, and I must say I have always been weary of animal prints until I got this leopard print vest. I just love it! I feel like you have to be very careful with animal prints to make sure they do not look too cheap. This vest main color is leopard print with shiny tiny spots over it that set it off. It has a wide black collar and a wide black band at the bottom. I layered it over a black basic 3/4ths length shirt. I went with dark wide jeans, and black booties. I wore a combination of brassy gold and silver jewelry to accent the brown in the vest.

A Casual Circle
My brother, Mason, gave me a coral circle scarf for Christmas! Well, as you know, I already love scarves, so a different type of scarf makes me ecstatic! I have been having some pretty major outfits lately, so I decided I would tone it down a bit today and focus on my scarf. I wore it with a basic cream top, layered under an over sized black sweater. This sweater is just great; it has two big buttons at the top, creating a turtle neck, that you can button so it is just the basic top, but I like it down like an over sized collar. I went with basic jeans and my Morocco black and cream Toms. I wore cream heart earrings, with gold accents and a gold opal ring. I was a casual cutie as Kailey said today, love her! Tomorrow I am taking my picture for the yearbook staff so I need to be business woman cute!

Sexy Shoulders
Lately I have been falling for decorated shoulders on clothings; such as, beading, embroidery, etcetera. I received a top for Christmas right in this range, and it is just so cute! It is a plum purple, with a cut v, 3/4ths length with rolled up sleeves and a button, and then it has major silver beading on the shoulders. It kind of has a military feel to it. It is a great way to dress up a basic tee. I paired it with another new pair of dark wash, clean cut, wide jeans, black scrunched booties, and black and silver jewelry. I did not want to wear a jacket for most of the day because then you would not be able to see the beading, but I did have to wear a grey scarf I received from my secret Santa, Emma. She did just fabulous with the choice, I need more casual scarves. This is definitely a comfy casual look, taken up a notch!

Das Boot
One my my favorite items I received for Christmas was my Justin Boots. Santa knows his boots! I knew I wanted to debut these boots early so I went with them today! They are a dark brown color with some fades to a more cognac brown. They are designed by Fossil so they have a very vintage feel. I wore them with dark skinny jeans, a basic white tee, and a zig zag weaved multicolored scarf. I did not want to take away from the boots, so I kept the outfit very basic. This is probably my favorite scarf, it honestly has every color and it is huge, so it is super cozy. I most definitely see these boots and this scarf much in my future, but I did get ten scarves for Christmas so I will try and use it sparingly ha!

Fashionably Late
Well it's back to school from a fabulous break, however it does not look like I am off to a swift start with my first blog back late! But I am back in 2011 wearing 1920's inspired booties! They are a cognac brown with a two inch heel and they lace up reaching right over the ankle. My grandpa did some great Christmas shopping this year! I wore these with skinny jeans, had to make sure to show them off, a light pink poncho shirt with beading at the top, and a new scarf. This scarf has an Aztec design to it with warm blues, greens, and purples. But it had a musty smell to it, so I will be sure to wash it before I wear it again. I could not pick a better outfit to start out the new year!
