This year I am finally old enough to give blood. Saving lives is a great thing, so I know if I am able to donate blood then that is something I will absolutely do. I signed up and even picked out my outfit around giving blood. I was wide jeans, navy, red, and cream design shirt, a cream scarf and red pointed toe kitten heels. I loved my outfit and I was so excited all day about giving blood. Well I get there and before you give blood you have to anwser about a million questions. Well I was on question three when I found out I did not weigh enough to give. If you are 5'3'' you have to weigh at least 124 pounds. I was so disappointed for the rest of the day. Giving blood is such a good cause and I felt it would be my service to the community to give blood.
